CANCELLATION & RESCHEDULING POLICY
Effective June 6, 2025
Your scheduled session is time intentionally reserved just for you. A missed or late-cancelled appointment not only impacts your care, but also limits access for other clients who may be waiting for that same space.
We require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice for all cancellations or rescheduling. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice or failure to attend your session will result in a full session fee, automatically charged to the card on file.
If your appointment is on a Thursday at 6:00 PM, for example, notice must be given by Wednesday at 6:00 PM at the latest.
You may cancel or reschedule through your client portal, or by calling, texting, or emailing your therapist.
Grace Period & Late Arrival
We offer a 10-minute grace period for all appointments. If you are more than 10 minutes late, your session will be marked as a late cancellation, and the full session fee will still apply.
Late arrivals may result in shortened sessions to honor the time of other scheduled clients.
Exceptions
We understand that life happens. Exceptions may be made for:
• Serious or contagious illness
• Unsafe weather conditions
• Emergencies or unavoidable disruptions
If you are unsure whether your situation qualifies, please contact your therapist before your session time for guidance.
Our Policy Is Not a Punishment
This policy is in place to honor your time, our time, and the shared commitment to your care. Therapy is an investment in your mental wellness and consistency supports your healing journey.
Clients who miss 3 or more scheduled sessions within a 6-month period without appropriate notice may be discharged or referred to another provider for continuity of care.
