How Will Your Supervision Shape The Clinician That You Become

I’ve spent years walking with clients through trauma, healing, and transformation. Now, I’m committed to helping Registered Clinical Social Work Interns sharpen their skills, build confidence, and find their clinical voice. Supervision with me is more than hours it’s intentional mentorship that prepares you for the work and the weight of this field.
From Intern to Clinician: I Get It
I know what it’s like to sit where you are balancing the pressure to learn the work, find your clinical voice, and wonder if you’re getting it ‘right.’ I’ve been the intern in supervision, unsure of myself and full of questions. Over the years, I’ve sat on both sides of the table as the one logging hours and as the clinician holding space for clients across primary care, corrections, inpatient psychiatry, and private practice.
That perspective shapes how I supervise today. I don’t just check boxes, I guide you through the clinical realities, the documentation demands, the countertransference that sneaks in and the self-doubt that can feel heavy. My approach is intentional, supportive and focused on helping you build the confidence and competence you’ll carry throughout your career.
What I Look for in a Supervisee
Clinical Curiosity
Supervision works best when you come ready to ask questions, explore tough cases, and stretch beyond your comfort zone.
Professional Accountability
Consistency matters. I value interns who show up prepared, respect the process, and take initiative in their own growth.
Cultural Responsiveness
A willingness to reflect on identity, privilege and bias and how those dynamics show up in the therapy room is essential.
Commitment to Learning
The best supervisees are open to feedback, proactive about skill-building, and dedicated to turning hours into meaningful experience.
Emotional Presence
Therapists hold a lot. I want to work with interns who are willing to process their own reactions, countertransference, and burnout so they can show up fully for their clients.
